Well, with the Wii U having almost no games this year, along with the abysmal details regarding pushing back the new Zelda this is the last Nintendo console I'm ever going to buy. They've burned me too much with overpriced games, a lack of discounts, and a lack of quality content for the system and I'm just not willing to put up with it.
Are they seriously charging $60 for this? The game only looks like it has 12 levels. Even WITH the alternate paths, that's still seriously short on content, but I guess an 'improvement' since the original game only had 7 levels...
Oh look, another underwhelming overpriced Nintendo game... I'm so bummed by Nintendo this year and last. I wish I could have the $250 I spent on my Wii U back. Between the prices that never drop and the lackluster library of games, there just isn't much for me on the system.
@austin_walker I'm really glad you brought up the point that a lot of us were shitheads on the internet when we were teens. I think that's what happened to a lot of us. It's weird to me being raised on the internet to get stuff like death threats or whatever because I feel like that is pretty common on the internet, your standard 'internet tough guy' bullshit. I'm not sure how we address it because for me I just ignore it, I'm so used to the noise and the gross people out there that I just say 'okay fuck you' to myself and ignore them. I've never been the target of such a brutal campaign though so it might be a difficulty in perspective. I don't know man, let's all just be cool to each other and not get worked up over stupid shit like face touching and boob sliders.
Yeesh, I hate the idea of buying cards with anything other than currency on a per-match basis (ala dota items), and the mastery system plus the way the founder's pack stuff works just seems rotten. Paying for deck slots as well? How much will that be abused? I don't know, just doesn't seem worth it.
By far the worst thing about this game is the fact that all 3 women at the controls are going through the same animation loop. They didn't even offset it by a few seconds and it's super distracting.
Definitely not my type of game and I don't see the allure of it from other video I've watched. Seems to be better than most of these types of games that go into early access though.
Watching this after part one it just seems like more bullet sponges. The part where Drew shot the guy with A SHOTGUN POINT BLANK and every slug hit him but did still required another shot is crazy.
