Another year coming to a close, another year filled with games I didn't have time to play! Here are some of my favourites from this jam packed year.
Shout out's to Mario Golf, Wario Land 3, Drill Dozer, Donkey Kong '94 and World Series Baseball. My Analogue Pocket really shined through and delivered me time to avoid playing other new games.
Pikmin 4 outta 4 stars
Mallow is a strapping young lad, Mario lays a path of destruction in his wake.
This is genuinely the first RE game that I have enjoyed playing, that includes the original RE 4.
Elephant Toad reminds me of that elephant from Diddy Kong Racing.
An absolute banger, I'll be playing this for years to come.
I was initially pretty disappointed with the other WarioWare release on Switch, but Move It is fantastic. It really shines in a multiplayer setting, another game I will be breaking out all the time with friends.
Game simply too long, I feel like if I had the opportunity to play this as a young child during summer break I would place it higher on this list.
God damn this is a fine ass video game. Phendrana Drifts is truly "goated in the sauce" or whatever kids are saying.
I played a much improved version of Pikmin's 1 and 2 this year and I have to say they are simply delightful.
Quite literally a game made for me and made not for me. I need time to play this game and I will try and play it co-op through next year to keep me on track to inevitably see the end.
