Really good Dynamite. Curious where Pac went; it didn't quite hit me until this week how strange the Archer face turn is. And Omega came off as a huge star and a fitting champion. He and Callis are a great duo.

Only big knock is there was WAY too much going on for one show.

I think it's part of the strategy to continue onboarding new viewers from last week. You do a big event and get people talking and then keep the buzz going to normalize the product and unfamiliar characters in people's minds.

I'm guessing it was Pac that was originally scheduled to face Moxley for the title at Full Gear, seeing as how he showed up immediately after the PPV. His trip probably got delayed a few weeks or something.

Listening to Observer Radio, I think it's funny that Bryan Alvarez didn't catch Matt Hardy's reference to his Twitter with the, "competition's in the mud, you love to see it" line. It was a reference that was so inside, even the guy it's about didn't get it.

The things he can channel and hit the perfect little, it seems at least to me, improv moments is emotionally charged in such a way that is hardly ever hit by anyone.

Yeah, totally. Anyone that's ever seen an argument leading to a fight knows that pro wrestling rarely gets it right. You never see people in that kind of emotionally-charged situation let the other guy talk without talking over them. WWE is especially awful where they play 'my turn, your turn.'

I would like for someone to ask him in an interview about his process for getting into the zone before something like this. I imagine you really have to psyche yourself up and convince yourself that you really hate your opponent. I don't know that I would be able to do that without saying 'fuck' every other word lol.

I really liked the line Moxley had about "the loudest guy in the room is usually the weakest." That nails it on the head. I feel like Kingston is really good at portraying a character that is deeply insecure and that has to hide it with all the bravado. There are a lot of wrestlers that try for that but it comes through from him the best.

Hope Reynolds is ok. He and Silver have become some of my favorite dudes on the show from their stuff on BTE.

I didn't quite know how to take the Omega entrance at first. I was just kinda like, 'uh, where is this going?' But his expression after the pin was priceless. And it was made all the better by how he acted before and after the match with the fake humility and appreciation. The big entrance and attitude is now leading me to believe that Hangman is going to beat him in the tournament and that's going to be the thing that sends him over the edge.

MJF and Jericho going back and forth on the mic these past few weeks has been awesome. It's actually really funny to watch Chris have to keep up with Max instead of the other way around. I laughed out loud when MJF was complimenting his hair and says 'can I touch it, bro?' and Santana looks at Ortiz and just goes, 'pause.' And then the director got the perfect shot of Sammy raising his oversized sleeves to his mouth in disbelief. Gold.

In response to the Orange Cassidy discussion: Jericho mentioned on his podcast that AEW's goal with their program together over the summer was to turn Orange into a main eventer. And he said that they think they accomplished that goal. So I think the days of Orange just being a manager are over, at least for now.

My head says that they should have just kept the title on Cody while he filmed that show for a month or Brodie should have retained or someone should have cost Cody the match or something. I don't like the belts ping-ponging back and forth like the titles in WWE.

But my heart says that Cody is an outstanding babyface and that post-match promo was fucking great.

What if MJF joins Omega's new stable?

Motocrossed.

I think I've probably watched it 10+ times total. It was one of those TV movies that was just constantly on for some reason during the summers from about '01-'03.
