Currently it's about a ten minute drive or twenty minute bike ride. The area that I live in has a trail that leads into the area where my work is, so that works out really well.
However, back in my minimum wage days there was a point where I was walking over an hour each way. It kept me in great shape, but I do not miss how my legs felt at the end of every day.
Final Fantasy 9, Metal Gear Solid, and Legend of Dragoon all get nods for being amazing games, but nothing on the PS1 stole hundreds of hours away from my life like Tony Hawk 2 did.
I wouldn't say it plays "great" on PS3. It's certainly playable, but I'm about 15 hours in and have experienced tons of freezes that last almost a minute each and Jeff's complaints about the chunky aiming are a hundred percent valid.
I would suggest approaching gaming with an attitude that most people play games because they like them, especially around here. Adults aren't playing Pokemon or CT for retro cool kid points. They play them because they're amazing games.
