@coolarman: Yeah that's sort of what I was thinking. I actually marathoned all of metal gear solid this year aside from 1, those games are pretty different from one another however.

Appreciate everyone's input. Hearing how similar 4 is seeming to be I'm sort of glad I didn't go back and play 3 like I had intended earlier this year

Let's see if this is actually the first bethesda game I actually finish.

Maybe this has been chatted about before but I didn't see it in the first couple of pages. I was just wondering what you guys think as to if I should play the rest of 3 and start New Vegas or just skip those and hop into 4.

I played 3 originally when it came out on 360 and then migrated to PC having never finished it or really touched much of the DLC. New Vegas on the other hand I have not touched at all.

I would be starting both games from the beginning so I'm guessing it would take me awhile to finish both. Would love to Hear some discussion that can help me decide what I should do.

Guess I'm the only one that just assumed this sort of stuff was happening. Don't take customer views on entertainment products seriously and it would help. That's why I come to places like Giant Bomb for coverage.

I have full intentions of getting back into this game once I finish Metal Gear. With School and Metal Gear I've had no time for HOTS lol.

Wanted to post again saying I have played a bit more now and have gotten all the way to 40 so I'm down for some ranked play if anyone is interested.

Yeah...this is a pretty common sentiment among the press and gaming community. It's really only worth it to buy digital Day 1 and for the Convenience factor. I bought MKX on my PS4 digitally because I want to be able to hop on and play a game whenever. Even without the disc inside.

We'll probably be on MP 13 or 14 by the time they make it to 10. For the sake of their own sanity. They gotta space that shit out faaaaar.
