I have always wanted to get into MGS for the story but the terrible(IMO) game play always kept me from playing it. Why in the world do I have to mash a button 20 times to choke a guy out? I get that some people like the game play but for me I just could never get past having to sit around a corner for 30 seconds til a guy walks by and then go to another corner to do the same. I have enjoyed some of the hitman games however because it doesn't require you to completely hide from everyone at all times.

This is what I would have posted. Also all of the PAX panels are really good. If you have a lot of time to burn start watching the P4 Endurance run.

Also I feel like all of you people have never tried to get into a fighting game.

Go on Shoryuken and talk like you don't know and see how fast you get called a scrub and shunned. It's part of pretty much everything competitive.

If you go play pick up basketball and you suck you probably won't get picked next time. So if you want to continue playing you have to get better.

That's just how people are. They want to play with others that know what they're doing. Having not had a lot of complaints I do think people could be more helpful, but sometimes it's just not fun to babysit someone.

@Fredchuckdave: There were tons of other game types I played in WC3 even after DOTA came out. I can't even count how many times I played some Variation of wintermaul. Even made one myself.

That's the whole reason I got into TD games myself.

I personally haven't experienced anything worse than you'd get on xbox live.

Just play some practice matches before you go into the main game so you know what you're doing to a certain degree.

IF it's LoL or Dota 2 go online and try to find a build for the character you like so you aren't getting asinine items and you should be fine.

Maybe I'm just good at the game? Noone has ever been as mean as everyone describes here to me. Granted I've been playing since TFT.

I have no interest in Move. I really don't want to waggle things to play a game. I don't need to point my controller like a gun in FPS games either. = / If there were more cool games out for it that were developed for it maybe I'd be more interested.

Also I don't really know anyone that likes Video Games other than myself. The ones I do know only really play big stuff like COD,AC, and Madden.

@TooWalrus: I'm Into a ton of things you probably wouldn't expect. They actually aren't all that dissimilar if you look at albums like From the Inside and Welcome to My Nightmare. Both have metal guitar with a softer vocal, but honestly I know I'm never going to convince anyone that doesn't like HIM already to enjoy their music haha.
