Quantity is an illusion, further augmented by the video games we play today. Not enough bullets in your clip? Exchange it for an extended magazine. Running low on health? Then eat a creme-filled cake out of a trash can. Tired of holding only two weapons at a time? Well here, have a weapon wheel. We gamers sure are a spoiled bunch. But that can have repercussions when playing games that don't conform to this "quantity code." What happens when your resources are scarce, and every move you make could be pivotal to the end result? At Babaroga, we've been developing this very game, and it's called:

Hey everyone! I'm Charles, Community Manager at Babaroga Games. We just launched Zombies!!! for iOS, but unfortunately, it's hidden among thousands of other "Zombie" games on the iTunes store. So, I figured I'd swing by and let the Giant Bomb community know that it's there, and it's awesome.

Check it out at:

If you have any questions about the game, feel free to leave them in the comments below and I would be happy to address each and every one!

Great suggestions - I'd be all for them. And I wouldn't be surprised if they revise their stance prior to launch.

The thing I like most about it is that it's far less linear than previous entries. But honestly, none of the PS4 launch titles are pushing the needle forward, y'know? I think I'll play Killzone Shadow Fall and Driveclub, just to check out the visual fidelity, but then I'm off to play some indies from the PS store. Those will be the highlight of my first day with the system.

I thought they did a phenomenal job! I'd consider myself to be a hardcore gamer, which essentially means my needs in a gaming console are very basic - I just want games! Microsoft justified purchase with some seemingly great ones. My two issues:

  1. How many of those are launch titles? My guess - not many.
  2. $499 feels a bit steep, but I think the hardware justifies that price. It's just a matter of weather or not consumers concur.

@cameron: THIS

We overestimate how informed the impulse-buying, holiday-shopping moms actually are.

They don't care nearly as much as we do, and unfortunately, the core gamer is the minority.

If I was an executive at Sony Computer Entertainment, I'd recommend going big, or going home. In the first minute of the press conference, have Jack Tretton clearly state:

  1. The PS4 will support the buying, selling and trading of used games - just as you could in previous generations. Publishers do not have a say in this, we do.
  2. You do not have to be online with your PS4, ever. There is no "hive-mind" checking in every 1-24 hours.

Seriously though, why not? It will draw a clear line right between the two console manufacturers. Sony is with the consumer while Microsoft stands with the publishers.

Ballsy, but go for it!

Hey everyone, I'm Charles - proud new member of the Giant Bomb community! I'm also a Community Manager for Babaroga, a game developer based out of Chicago, IL. As a Community Manager it's my job to gather useful insight from gaming communities, and I get the inclination that Giant Bomb is an ideal place to do so. With that said, here's a video regarding a recent release of ours - Zombies!!! for Windows 8:

Now that you know a little bit more about the Zombies!!! franchise, what would you like to see from a hypothetical Kickstarter campaign for it? We have a few ideas of our own in mind, but we're really interested in your input most!

  • What do you look for in a Kickstarter campaign for a game of this caliber?
  • What platform would you like to see supported? iOS? Android? Steam? PSN? XBLA? Other?
  • Is there anything you would change to the game based on the footage shown above?
  • What rewards do you prefer on Kickstarter? Digital? Tangible?
  • What do you think should be rewards for a game like Zombies!!! on Kickstarter?
  • Anything else you'd like to mention?

Thanks for any and all suggestions! Who knows, maybe some of them will be at the epicenter of discussion during our studio meetings next week!

When you say you restored your PS3 to it's default settings, did you do it through "Settings" in the XMB, or by holding down the power button until the console beeps? You would be surprised what the latter has fixed for me.
