Banjo-Kazooie is a good platformer for good people who like good things.

People are so sensitive about being goofed on for playing video games. Video games aren't your identity, they are a hobby. In high school, some people would crack a few jokes about me constantly having my nose in a book, but I didn't care. I didn't have some nebulous sense of reader pride.

If I see Vinny playing an early access game where you control a character by talking to it then I'm going to lose my mind to sheer elation.

I don't even know if I like Swery's games, but I like Swery a whole lot and I want to support him. Need to celebrate off-the-beaten path games. I'll grab it when it comes out on PC.

Rogue Squadron. The 2nd one on the gamecube had my favorite Star Wars level. The battle of Endor was great.

All big companies think their customers are stupid. Not buying collector's editions or season passes isn't going to change that.

And people would have stopped buying these things already if they didn't feel like they were getting their money's worth.

A lot of the really talented writers are moving on. Cara was great, Carolyn Petite over at Gamespot was great (although that was more of a bullshit downsizing). Guess things are just moving more towards video. There are few people writing about games anymore that are great writers. At least we've still got Alex.
