I'm just saying I do not know why threads get locked sometimes way to much mod power going on.
The worst I said in my thread was one game would have better sales then the other becuase one would have the holidays and the other release in spring. And the thread gets locked.
Plain and simple. Sony bowed out there is no war between the 2. No matter what it will not be a fair match up. Sony choose to have PD wait and let Forza drop so PD can now add and copy and make GT on par or better by adding features and such after looking at Forza 3.
After TGS Sony new they would loose if they released GT5 now. Even though GT was going to be done and release this holiday season. They knew after seeing a final build of Forza3 at TGS that Forza was better in pretty much every regard.
So yup Sony delayed the game and now will copy and add in features that Forza 3 has. And they will further tweak gameplay to be on par with Forza3
So now there is no war it's GT will drop 6 months after Forza 3 and if GT happens to be as good or slighty better it will be for the reasons I just listed.
Forza will >>>GT5 in sales though. Forza has much more popularity now. And it has the holidays. GT5 will release in March and will not have the sales it had in the past.
Why most casuals will over look this amazing tactical game. For us hardcore gamer we will be in the underground elite club of playing this masterpiece.

You think that is good go back and watch the origional from the disco 70 days. Now that is an AMAZING show for it's time.

No something happened GT was going to come out around the holidays this year. Even Sony said this. Something went down. I think Sony flipped and saw just how fucking good Forza is and demanded that PD add some features or copy or work harder to make GT better. Something went down for this delay into 2010 now.

You're right though. It pisses me off when developers think they need to spend a decade making a game like these guys or Blizzard. I mean look at Infinity Ward, they don't seem to have any trouble making what looks to be one of the best FPS's ever in just two years, but noooo our game is so good it needs to take an entire century of development time. Bethesda made Fallout 3 years quicker then Gran Tourismo, which still isn't finished, coming off having mad Oblivion. It's completely ridiculous. "
My whole point PD has just kept delaying it out of fear of Forza and trying to play the wait until Forza releases so we can scamble and try to add and copy and put things in to be as good as Forza. If not for Forza, GT would of been out already and most likely released with no damage model.
