There is no quality or performance settings for this game. You just get what you get, 30fps.
HDR has not been fixed yet. I play with it off, looks better yo my eyes. It does not make frame rate better or worse (for any game) it simply outputs a different color space.
EDIT: Some games, not all will have an option to choose a higher/more stable frame rate or better quality. This is not a mandated feature.
Own a B6 and personally turned off HDR. Find that OLEDs are so good with with colour anyway. HDR often looks poor compared. Maybe I just like over saturation or unlifelike colour (these are video games after all). Make sure your in HDR game mode, have oiled light and contrast up all the way. There is a handy YouTube video that I originally used from the guys at digital foundry https://youtu.be/nXx9DSuY3hs as well as this https://youtu.be/_F3dsI_bthQ good luck
That game touched me in a weird way at the start. When I booted it up and got greated with the Welcome to Forza Horizon Ben.even though they did that in 3, it just felt like a personal experience.
Just an update on my experiment - PS4 Pro is now whisper quiet in God Of War and other games that would typically push the fans hard. Replaced my thermal paste with some noctua nth1 took around 30mins. I’ve got a launch Pro and the paste inside seemed fine but this has improved it drastically.
Have just recently replaced the thermal paste in my pro. Will report back with an update a few days after I break her back in. Results so far seem to be 1000% better.
It's a hobby. It's okay to take time away from it.
This. I fell off gaming for a bit and other things I used to enjoy. You can only play SO MUCH. I'm back into it now but. Just walk away and do something else for a bit :)
@soulcake: Taken from the Microsost site. I live in Australia, could be different for you.
Can I get a refund for a digital game?
No. You can’t return a digital game and receive a refund or credit.
I'd advise anyone intending on buying this game first try the game via the Xbox Game Pass program. Even if you can't use the 14 day free trial then just pay whatever it is for the first month. $15 in Australia vs $79 -$99 to buy. I'd be rather disappointed buying this game at full price.
