I agree, but I might go further and just say that Deadly Premonition doesn't need a sequel. I think that York was integral to the experience and, while I would love to see more stuff from Swery, I think Deadly Premonition can and should stand on its own.

@Tennmuerti: Thanks. I was using an electric assault rifle on the drones and it didn't seem to be doing any more damage than my regular rifle. Maybe I just need to find a better one. Against the Lance, I'm definitely finding the corrosive weapons effective (although I have a scoped machine gun that does pretty well, especially with criticals)  except  on those damn Lance Medics. Those guys are just bastards. I spent an hour or two working my way down the road on the first mission you receive from Moxxi and finally gave up.

this dlc should be awesome but for one thing,  its funny see -cos the vehicles die in 5 hits, we die in one hit - enemies die in 100  and its way cool too, cos all those drones constantly hang around the spawning pole- meaning when you die you respawn with 7 drones shooting you - So eventually after 30 mins you manage to kill enough to get across the road, but then you get killed at the end of the road? and get moved way back to where you started -  just in time for those enemies that spawn camped you initially to respawn- and camp you again"
I have yet to get anywhere near Crawmerax (or near level 61 for that matter) but I'm finding my experience with General Knoxx mirroring that of yours. Not fun.

Picked this up day one (had it preordered after I saw the QL) and it's really a fantastic game. As for the sexual nature of the game...to be honest everything (including said sexual content) is so off-the-wall absurd that it almost doesn't register.

@darkjester74 - I agree, if anything MW2 is another step in bringing PC gaming into parity with consoles. I think if it sells well on the platform we'll most likely see a shift towards a $60 price point and paid DLC is not far behind (actually it's already here when you consider things like the Fallout 3 DLC).  I wonder though, if IW sticks to their guns, so to speak, and denies consumers the ability to use dedicated servers, whether it will drive more people towards products from smaller developers who will cater to those requests. Not that they would take away market share, per se, but simply increase interest in such products.

That is awesome. Only another half hour until I can get home and finally play this.
