I've listened to the last 2 minutes of the podcast at least 30 times. That is easily the funniest GB moment of 2018 so far. Between Alex realizing what Dan just said, Vinny trying to get past it, then Jeff's laugh, I lose it with every listen.

Like? All of the legends used race/gender/sexual orientation as a topic for jokes. Even the current class does it. Dave Chappelle isn't racist, sexist or homophobic, right? You can make racial jokes without being racist. That's what the Beasters and many posters in this comment section don't seem to understand.
The percentage of Giant Bomb commenters here who seemingly like or are okay with shitty humor that punches down is CONCERNING.
You must not be a fan of standup... Hell, even Abby's brand of comedy, "improv" can get a little dirty. The issue here is that folks are using a shitty video game to grandstand on the internet. Alex was willing to look past the sexism in Nier in order to give it GOTY. But Shaq-Fu not having any redeeming qualities in his eyes makes the game a punching bag...
The Beast crew is calling this game racist, sexist, and homophobic? None of the joke were "grade A" material, sure. But come on... What comedy doesn't make these types of jokes? What stand up comedian doesn't? Are you holding Shaq Fu of all things, to a higher standard? Were we expecting a crowd funded beat-em-up to set the new bar in socially conscious comedy?
