@jamessnook: Great pics dude, as said before wish I had a 4k/widescreen format monitor for this game. I will definitely check out your other pics later on, got a similar site I am using but I am pretty selective of what I actually post to it. I am curious though, how did you get it to zoom out that far?
You need to read his guide. I like his shots and respect the effort he is putting in but basically getting the screenshots like he has them requires running the console, cheat engine, forced downsampling, and using sweet FX which does a crap ton more than just enabling screenshots. So while his pics looks really cool... they can not be obtained playing the game normally. He is unlikely to be using a Titan or actually playing at 4k.
Meanwhile here are some more of my recent shots which I got playing the game totally without doing all that stuff.
I'm still using a 2560x1440 monitor. Some of those images were panoramas stitched together from mutliple screenshots, and the others were achieved via custom resolutions in the Nvidia control panel. I use the free camera that's unlocked through the debug console mod. More info here.
It's a hobby. I was never interested in taking screenshots from the normal gameplay camera. There's enough of those around. Other than ReShade, my shots are no different than promo shots that are used to sell the game (also downsampled + free camera)
@jamessnook: Are you running that on a GTX Titan in a 4K monitor?
Yes to the TitanX, but no to the 4K monitor. As of right now, a 4K monitor is pretty impractical. I wouldn't like one for general use, and a TitanX isn't enough for 4K in The Witcher 3, let alone several other titles. Though I'm going to swap it out for a pair of 980 TIs.
Guess I can post a few more. Showing off the bear armor =)
