" Slim. I don't understand why people put the BC forward as to make their choice with their ps3. It's buggy with most games and that is of course if the game will even work. Plus why would anyone get rid of their ps2 ?!? D= "
That is complete and utter bull my friend, especially since the original 60GB had had the PS2 chip built in. I have an original 60GB and it never failed to play any PS2 games. However since we have moved far into the next generation, I would just recommend getting the cheapest one. "
LiquidPrince is right, as usual. The PS2 Backwards Compatibility in the 60GB model is flawless. On top of that, you can upscale PS2 games played on it. If you don't care about being able to play PS2 games, the only major difference is that the 60GB has card slots (SD cards, Memory Stick Pro Duo) and four USB ports compared to the slim's two. "
As usual?...Is it because of his avi that you enjoy cleaning out his ass?
I used to have a 60GB and no it isn't flawless...as I keep saying, most games wouldn't work and the ones that did would have glitchs or terrible framerates. Why would I lie about such a thing?!? Maybe it was only the PAL models, but whatever the reason, my 60GB was useless when it came to it's BC. "
Well there's the issue. The PAL 60 GB models used software emulation which is known to be a little shoddy. But the first-gen 60GB models from JAP and NTSC regions had the EE/GS chip built in. I have an NTSC 60GB model and it plays my entire PS2 collection problem free.
