I'd love a sequel to Bayonetta. I really enjoyed the first one and am meaning to go back just to collect a few more loose achievements.

Hell, back when they had a playable demo of it at the 2009 Fan Expo, I must have played it like 4 times. Really fun game.

Maybe it's because I haven't been paying attention to any information regarding the game, but did the trailer just spoil some of the events of DR2?

I mean, I thought all Chuck was doing was competing to get Katey some Zombrex... now he's blamed/wanted for the zombie outbreak? I guess this is what I get when I try to avoid information about the games I'm interested in and slip up when I see a tidbit that excites me (oh Frank West).

I currently only listen to two: obviously the Bombcast and also The Electric Hydra (featuring Brad Nicholson and Jim Sterling as well as other past and present Destructoid editors).

Though I've bitched that "To be honest, not sure if I could pay $60 just for a sweet t-shirt seeing as I wouldn't use any of the other features", if Ice-T made a Giant Bomb appearance in either Bombcast/Quick Look/TNT form, I will instantly throw down the yearly subscription fee.

This sounds too awesome.

My GH3 controller has lasted me since launch and is pretty much the only thing I can use when playing these types of games. The GH2 one is pretty rad as well.

I never got a feel for the RB ones to be honest, same with the GH ones starting from WT. I don't know what it is, but my scores using these controllers are pretty low compared to the ones I get using the GH2/3 ones. Maybe it's the strum bar? I don't know.

For the RB ones, I don't like how you have to push in the buttons. I don't know what it is with me, but it slows me down for some reason.

Depends on what the additional features are. At this point the only thing I would want is bombcast complete... and that t-shirt. It looks pretty neat, not going to lie.

Too bad there isn't like... a premium lite, or a more customizable approach. $50 is a hard sell mostly because I'm never gonna watch HD videos, I don't have a data plan on my phone and I really have no reason to download any of the videos. Before any more features are announced, the only thing I'd really like is bombcast complete and that rad ass t-shirt (assuming that roller coaster is the t-shirt).

Now if I could pay a bit less for just bombcast complete and that rad ass t-shirt, I'd be really up for a subscription model.

  1. I honestly don't give a crap about ads, especially because I live in Canada and I rarely see any anyways.
  2. I won't get a "free" T-shirt because, again, I live in Canada so I would have to pay for shipping.  Which I probably won't do if it's something like $20+$.
  3. I don't care about HD video streaming; my Internet's crap anyways.
  4. I don't own a mobile phone so the mobile Internet website has no value for me.

I know there probably will be more revealed tomorrow (it's The Big Live Live Show: LIVE ) but, at this point, there's really no incentive at all for me to pay anything for a subscription.  There better be some damn good reveals for me to want to pay $50 USD for a year.  Wonder what this Friday live show is, though...  And I also wonder what the improved profile features for paying members might be. "
Hm. So $60 for the year plus T-shirt shipping to Canada?

I'll need to see what else is included because, since I'm pretty much in the same boat. As much as I would love to support Whiskey like this, not sure it currently benefits me that much. Hell, I don't even pay for XBL and playing online is technically a huge incentive to me.

Now if there were some Giant Bomb/Whiskey hoodies I could buy...

Hopefully now I can solo Crawmerax <_<;;

But seriously though, I was thinking about it last night, Gearbox has really supported this game. Just when I think I'm done with the title, something new comes around that makes me want to jump back into Pandora and shoot some stuff for a while.

Even though one year has always been $60 in Canada (except on the rare occasion when places have a sale for $40) just the fact alone they're raising prices in general is really putting me off renewing my subscription.

Granted it is roughly $5 a month but personally other than playing the occasional music game online or needing help in Borderlands (damn you Crawmerex!) I don't really see how it's worth it to me personally.

Maybe when there's more features that make it worthwhile, I'll just keep that $60 and put it toward another game or something.
