So i'm 28 years old and I finally decided.. to buy a smart phone :x I'm kind of cheap and didn't want to pay the extortionist prices most phone companies charge for cell service so i've been living off Tracphone for well up until now. But life is changing and i want to be more connected (and less bored). I've been looking at a bunch of different options and mostly want to go with a unlocked phone so i don't get overcharged for a phone getting it for "free" with a cell plan.

But theres sooooooooo many options out there i'm having trouble picking something. I don't really want to go with the Galaxy S7 because EVERYONE has it. I want to stand out a bit. I was interested in the LG G5 but reviews seem to be hard on it. Recently i've been looking at the Nexus 6P and getting into googles "Project Fi" But the 6P seems to be very large and i'm not certain if Project Fi is worth destroying my google voice account for. I have a iPad 2 with a lot of app history, but i don't really want a iPhone.. So i guess my questions are whats a bunch of good not semi unique phones and what would be a good carrier to go with?

I was looking through all my old photos on my hard drive and came across one of my desktop from 2007. For some reason i thought it would be neat to see other peoples old photos if you have any of desktops :x It's a interesting little time capsule. Shows what i was into around that time. Dumb idea? Maybe.

@soulcake: I experienced this issue and then had it fixed by using exclusive mode with input mapper. Everything is perfect now \o/

Ended up buying a DS4. I really like how small and comfortable it ufeels but it's not perfect. Seems to require a bit of setting up before it works in all games. Was presently surprised to have it work in ffxiv natively though

So if i'm using windows 10 is the dualshock 4 is a bad option? I did see they make mini xbox one controllers but not sure if those are compatible with PC.

Hmm question on the Dualshock 4. Does the touchpad function at all? And where are the start and select buttons?

I dropped my Logitech F710 on the floor and when i put the batteries back in it ceased to function :(

So i need to buy a new gamepad pretty much immediatly. My motherboard has bluetooth built in so i was thinking maybe just getting a PS4 controller, but i'm unsure if that's a hassle free option. I also looked at the Xbox One controllers and am unsure if they work wirelessly?

Which one is recommended for hassle free use on PC? I mostly want the PS4 form factor because my hands are small and i never liked Xbox controller setups, not sure how they are on the Xbox One, but i remember it being hard to reach some buttons on it years ago.

I've always wondered why Giant Bomb videos don't have a option to share them to twitter or other social media. I was just watching a video i thought was really interesting and wanted to share it to my twitter but there is no way to easily and quickly do this from the website. I think this would be a pretty good feature to have and might even help bring new fans!
