Sorry man, I can't advise you on the etiquette of meta-social interactions on Facebook. If you know anyone else going to the party, make sure you get there at the same time as them perhaps? Or just ask someone who has accepted the invitation, "Hey, do you think HOSTESS would mind if I came to her party?"

Come on guys, flushing after you piss once is a huge waste of fresh water. Wasting our most precious resource is what is fucked up about this. Pissing in it ONCE then putting it in the fucking ocean is absolutely ridiculous. Urine is the most sterile of all bodily fluids, so there is no health-related downside to leaving a bit of piss in the toilet.

You people are the reason why the environment is in such a piss-poor state. Use your fucking heads instead of a knee-jerk reaction of "eww that's gross". Get a conscience and think about the consequences of your actions more than 10 minutes in the future.

That said, there's a limit so I tend to flush after 2-3 pisses depending on how rank it smells.

That game is so beautiful.

Here's a decent processor for gaming. I would imagine it will give you a quite significant upgrade. RAM would help too, especially with the Alt-Tab issues, but that's outside of your price range. It's quite cheap though.

Edit: Hmm, your motherboard is quite old too... I doubt it would support a Sandybridge processor. You might be better off upgrading to 8GB of RAM and waiting until you can do a full overhaul to replace the processor.

All I got, thank god, was Kotor 2 for $2.50.

I've been playing it again, and it still holds my attention like few other games can. Especially with the restored content.

If you want your lightsaber quickly, go to Nar Shaddaa as soon as you can. Hope that isn't too spoilery, but I can't really see it; lightsabers and Nar Shaddaa are in every Star Wars game. I'm playing it through now too, for probably the 12th time though... I have the discs around here somewhere, but I couldn't say no to $2.50 on Steam!

For me, the idea of being a burden on my family was enough to get me off my ass. Not meant to guilt trip you or anything, but it's important to think of others in these situations: even for an introvert, the people in your life can be important motivators.

Just beat the game for the first time on easy with the Engi (doughnut) ship, and I'm honestly surprised I managed it. It started out being a run just to grab a few achievements, but it turned out to be my first victory!

I did it without cloaking, which is the surprising part. 3 shield bubbles, 3 ion weapons and 2 Mark 1 anti-ship drones. 48% dodge too, but no teleporter either. After about 3-4 volleys of my ion cannons the shields were down and from there I could basically shut down any subsystem I wanted (i.e. weapons and teleporter).

So have faith people! It's not impossible to beat the boss with a variety of builds (on easy at least), which is one of the biggest complaints I've heard about the game so far.
