i use it alot, i'm always playing kingdom hearts 1 and 2, some of the GTA for PS2, i also downloaded a few games on the PSN that was old school PS1 games(I.E.: FF7, Wild arms 2, etc..). Thats the main reason why i don't want to get a new one ;/. Thanks for the tips, i may just send it in, pay the 150, cause thats still cheaper than 300 for a new one with ONLY ps3 hardware.

Alright, so i was about to play some MGS over the summer, turned on my playstation and i get this.

Any advice? i have one of the original 60 gigs or i'd just buy a new one, i've tried new cables, and seperate TV's, and still get the same results, not only does it look bad, but it won't play ANY of my games past the opening movie. And ideas? Sony will charge 150$ to fix it, so if it's something i could do myself i'd greatly apreciate help :D.
