@amyggen: No I'm talking about the one he picked up once he officially started the game; when he was actually in the world completing quests. I'd have to go back and watch the video, but I'm pretty sure he picked up a joy pill at some point during the actual "game" and I'm wondering what happens if you take the pill then.

I wish Dan had used the Joy Pill he picked up. Isn't that a major component of the game? The fact that the world changes when you use one? Also, skipping through all of that intro stuff kind of sucks for people who somehow didn't see it at E3. Reviews shouldn't exist in a vacuum, but maybe Quick Looks should.

Having them compete for time doesn't seem necessary. If only one of them completes the hit, that person is obviously the winner, and if both of them complete it, the game ranks you at the end. We should be encouraging clean assassinations here at Giant Bomb, and should reward the most efficient player on all fronts.

However, a hard thirty minute time limit for both might be a good way to discourage stalling and apply some pressure to them. Take too long to find the target or hesitate on a hit too many times, and you're punished by having to "FORTUNE FAVORS THE BOLD" it up and just toss a knife in the dude's head and pray you make it to an exit.

Either way, definitely hope to see more of these.

Also, the characters in these games probably talk now because everything is focus tested to shit and we treat kids like stupid morons.

The Force Awakens, for me, dipped significantly in quality once the cool new characters were inevitably forced to play second fiddle to those fan favorite ones, who maybe shouldn't have been so heavily shoehorned into the damn thing to begin with.

@brad: I think it's OK for you guys to experiment with a spoiler cut-off point in Quick Looks. Not just saying 'turn this off if you don't want to be spoiled', but doing the QL more or less spoiler free as normal, then have a thing come up that says something like 'spoiler zone' at the 16 minute mark of this video and continue to show off the stuff you wish you could but 'can't'.

When it's hyper-clear, I think people can/should make their own decision if they want to keep watching or not.

Alright, this comment gave me the idea of making someone else who's finished the game sit down with me later this week to replay some of the more memorable sections so we can gush about what we liked. Wouldn't work so well for every game, but this one has the easy chapter select + insane moments that would make it appropriate. Someone help me think of a name.

In general I'm more hesitant to show off too much before a game is out for purchase. Five hours after release there will be full playthroughs posted on YouTube, so post-release feels like a more appropriate time to dig into more of it if people want it.
