Having liked Quantum Break quite a bit, the only thing I'm not totally sold on, watching this, is the actual gunplay. I didn't love the shooting in Quantum Break either, but the multiple powers you get (the TIME STOP bubble thing, particularly) made it easy to tolerate. Hopefully, Alex is still just relatively early in the game, and more abilities unlock later on.
Man, I've been meaning to hop into the Yakuza series since Beast in the East - and still want to at some point - but I'm super tempted to pick this up and play it first, seeing as it's its own fresh thing with the absurd quirkiness intact...
I just finished the intro mission last night and, boy, they really do just kind of immediately confirm that BJ kills Hitler sometime between the events of The New Colossus and this game, huh?
I mean, we all knew it was coming, but just how nonchalant they were about bringing it up threw me a bit.
I'm sure having the game glitch out like that can be frustrating when you have to finish recording an episode for a video series, but it sure was hilarious to watch.
