It's like the worst caricature of the problem with the single player missions. What a waste of potential.
1) Buy a sodastream jet off ebay for 30 bucks without a tank
2) Buy a beverage grade paintball tank and adapter for 45 bucks. I got mine from a place that went all into how they made sure it was made of the right type of aluminum and none of the manufacturing solvents were left.
3) Refill like 100 liters for 3 bucks at a sporting goods store, because the co2 they have is absolutely the same and totally not an issue.
4) Recoup costs within weeks. Begin saving and also not having to buy/carry seltzer.
I like to put slices of ginger in it. I never use the syrup to make it into soda, just for seltzer.
Also know that carbonating water (including soda) creates carbonic acid which is why it has that taste and can use a little flavoring, but iirc it can be bad for your teeth and the ph of the water is overall lower than ideal.
