I tried to get into the Mass Effect series over and over again. Everything about it ticks a box on my check-list: cool sci-fi setting, TONS of player choice, interesting characters and relationships...the list could go on. For some reason, though, I was just bored. Constantly bored. 10 hours into game 1 and STILL SO FREAKING BORED. I recognize that those games are are well-loved for a reason, but I just can't seem to enjoy them.
@austin_walker You pose such an interesting question. In this day and age, it's hard to think of anything being TRULY lost. On the other hand, there's such a glut of media to devour, it's likely that there are plenty of things that will never even get discovered.
