@rimtiggins: Everybody is endlessly singing Inscryption's praises. I was beginning to think I was the only person who wasn't in love with it. The first act was fine. The card game was serviceable and the visuals kept me interested. The second act lost me immediately.
Nothing really stood out to me this year as an obvious number one (caveat that I haven't played Metroid Dread yet). Games near the top of my list:
- Death's Door
- Axiom Verge 2
- Unpacking
- Loop Hero
