Rhythm games aren't dead. In fact if you want to check out a really good one on PC Spin Rhythm XD is amazing. It's still in Early Access but it has a decent amount of tracks and the gameplay is pretty dope. Gives me that DJ Hero feeling, which was one of my favorite rhythm games of all time.
The new theme is not great. It sounds way too busy, like there are too many discordant sounds playing over one another. If you like it, cool. I'll be skipping over the intro until they replace it with something that doesnt make my ears bleed.
The new theme song is horrible, honestly. No disrespect to the artist but it really just sounds like a whole lot of noise. I'm sure they could come up with something a bit more pleasant to the ear.
It's such a shame that the monster in-fighting is just for show in this game. Correct me if I'm wrong but the monsters don't actually damage each other at all, even when they are "fighting".
@karatelips: I remember seeing that when I was 14 and lost my damn mind.
Yep, sounds about right haha! Thats about when I saw it too and boy, was I not prepared for that crazyness. The thing I remember most about it is one of the characters delivery of the line "No fucking way!"
I'm normally all for Dan's silly shenanigans, but this is too far man. The whole point of naming people in XCOM is to grow an attachment to them. Dan Ryckert (The XCOM recruit) is dead. Deal with it...Dan.
You can't just keep renaming high ranking soldiers every time your character dies. This series is going to be ruined for a lot of people if some restrictions aren't placed on Dan editing characters that the other Commanders already created.
