Consider that was the whole reason why NT was signed on to make the reboot, it's a fair assumption to judge the story a bit more harshly than past DMC games, because the combat certainly isnt up to snuff from the past iterations.

The only bad thing about this is that everybody will blame the Kinect for any other shortcomings the game has, as if game development is an RTS where developers have to choose between "quality game", "game with multiplayer component", or "game with optional Kinect functionality", and they only have enough units to build one of the three.

Funny thing: It's EXACTLY like that. The RTS genre was originally invented to emulate game development.

Well, whatever. I don't understand this IGF business but Fez will continue to rock and I will continue to use IGF as a barometer for indie games I should care about (although I've already played a surprising number of games on this list. Guess I'm indie, bitches.)
