PC (DOS) played in 94 or 95

Platformer

You played as a squirrel-man(?) with a gun.

Much slower (and less collerfull) than Jack Jazzrabbit.

Platforms where small floating islands I think.

I don't remember if it was any good, but it is the only childhood game I haven't figured out.

Intel CPU's made a leap especially in terms of video game related calculation in series after the one you have, so most likely you will want to upgrade to that.

Your graphics card is a fair bit above minimum according to Bethesda right now, but their minimum for AMD is an even faster card so who knows. At any rate you should probably expect to play at quite low settings with that.

Your RAM is still relevant, but if you went for a newer CPU you would likely get one that only has 2 RAM-controllers and so only 4GB of your 6GB would be able to run dual channel mode (right now all 6GB are running triple channel), so basically you would get lower performance whenever you use more then 4GB of ram. At any rate Bethesda suggests minimum 8GB RAM, so perhaps you should consider replacing.

Your HDD, Case, and cooler should be fine.

If you want Fallout 4 and other new games to run well you should probably upgrade: CPU (and so also motherboard), RAM, and Graphics card.

If you are hesitant to spend that much money you should probably wait until you have the game, as you mess with graphic setting you get some idea if the graphics card or CPU is more limiting to your frame-rate (The CPU are mostly unaffected by graphic settings).

If you want to do a partial upgrade I would say keep your current Graphics card, it is not completely obsolete yet and you can use lower graphic settings to help you (something that is not an option if your CPU or RAM is insufficient).

We don't know much about Fallout 4 yet (and system recommendations made with an unfinished version of the game are guidelines at best), but for The Witcher 3 you can look at this article: http://www.techspot.com/review/1006-the-witcher-3-benchmarks/ It seems that your chosen GPU is good for 520 on high and 40 on ultra, so that seems to match your expectation.

As for the rest:

You could probably save a bit on CPU if you like, as you can see from the Witcher 3 performance review, any modern Intel quad core will do, some games might depend on CPU more but it is worth consideration. The -k CPU's are only relevant if you are looking to overclock.

I haven't read up on m.2 SSD's but it seems like you can have much higher upper limits than using SATA, so that sounds great.

A single slot (120 mm) liquid cooling radiator is not going to offer any benefit compared to a 120 mm cooling tower (it can be better/worse depending on case design), if your case fits such a cooling tower it might be a cheaper option (with no risk of noisy pump).

In general it looks like some really good choices and if what you posted fits your price range I think you will be happy with those picks.

The original Rollercoaster Tycoon still gets a spin fairly often, also the second game. I see those games as strangely perfect, every system is neatly designed and fits the game.

If you are still on the fence about World of Warcraft here is why it is divisive (from the perspective of someone who do like it).

1. WoW is an incredibly influential title for its genre and sparked a ten year long cavalcade of competing products trying to go after the same target audience (mostly failing). WoW has probably caused developers/publishers to throw billions of dollars at a genre which suffers from the great "flaw" that people are very dedicated to their game and rarely play more than one at a time, for this reason some people might despise it.

2. The number one complaint I hear about World of Warcraft is that it "steals" friends. The game is good/addictive enough that a lot of people will decline or fail to show up to social events in favor of playing the game (socially with other people perhaps).

3. WoW along with CoD supports Activitions apparent belief that a franchise should be milked for every drop and that the brand will stand up to that kind of abuse.

4. Blizzard has added a store to the game selling ingame cosmetic items that are not achievable in any other way, treating a subscription-based game as if it was a free to play.

5. While things are finally getting better, finding a new friend who also plays WoW was always a painful experience since chances were close to nil that they play on the same server. Server transfer has been possible almost since the beginning, but despite the process now being near-instantaneous and automated it still cost a small fortune to move several characters to another server.

6. A lot of people seem to get into the game addictively, completely burn out playing it, and then proceed to complain about it every time they think someone might listen.

7. Some people spent a lot of time with the game before all/most of the expansions and are having a hard time accepting that the game has to move on. Many early parts of the game has been trivialized because the leveling process is so much longer, and people might feel this diminishes their achievements within the game. There has also been a lot of streamlining in the games classes and items, for example the classic talent tree is no more and is replaced by simpler (but arguably more meaningful) systems.

To contrast all of that:

I think WoW is an amazing game and that Blizzard are the best at most of the things I care about in an MMO, it never became a great addiction for me since I often just threw it aside when something else was interesting and there are so many cosmetic things in the game that the few in the store hardly matter.

I remember when I used to watch a lot of Starcraft 2 related streams I would a sometimes tune into a stream on Twitch and be wowed by it looking smooth, only to then find the info page and confirm that it was indeed 60 fps rather than 30.

That was a game I had already spent a lot of time looking at so it is much more obvious than some comparison video of a game you never played, but it did prove there is a clear difference.

My advice to you is to find a comparison video of a game you know well. And be sure to avoid older videos, a lot of dofus have been uploading 30 vs 60 videos for years because they didn't bother to check what Youtube supported.

Since Motherload has been mentioned, it is also worth mentioning Super Motherload which is in early access on steam. The punishment for dying in that one are a lot less harsh than the flashgame I think.

Now I wonder if it is too late to change from Electronics engineering to IT engineering one year in, had a lot of Java and learned a lot about UML+Unified Process...

Really though I doubt I can speak clearly enough as I am from Denmark and mostly speak English with other europeans.

Is the intend for the internship to be a yearly thing? Well, looks like you only accept overseas people for the permanent positions anyway. I look forward to seeing new people get integrated into the GB teams.

I think its wackiness is in a way much more forgivable than a lot of other cartoons, it is all fairly straight forward while also being pretty funny.

I don't watch the show much myself but I am told my grandad watches every episode, often more than once.
