Someone on Reddit figured out the first clue. It's a website hidden in the envelope pictures.

I'm in NYC and I have 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 11, and 12. And they did NOT come in order.

Maybe it relys on a stoplight pattern? Green for go, red for stop, etc...

I've gotten nothing for the past few days... just 1, 2, and 3 last week.

I would like to get in on helping to solve this puzzle! My envelopes have been arriving late, though :( And out of order - I got the coal first, and Conspicuous Consumption second. That's it, so far. (I'm in NYC, btw.)
