If anyone was wondering what the 'simple Greek style' of art Ryan was talking about at 9 something minutes is called, that's 'Black Figure'. Most of who we'd call the 'good' potters lived in Attica. It was replaced by the 'Red Figure' style in the 6th century BC.

Destiny 2 Hot tip for everyone - if you run the New Light questline from the Tower quest terminal, you'll get a current level version of Riskrunner, in my opinion the best SMG in the game.

@kirkdouglas: so you skipped zelda breath of the wild, witcher 3, dark souls, and only brought games like tetris and call of duty warzone, etc. Dont get me wrong jeff does great explaining his likes and dislikes but dude is usually lukewarm on most games and people dont understand that he thinks most things are fine. Little things sound like he hates them but stuff like glitches or slow walking put him off a game. Its called jeff's opinion for a reason, cause its specific to him. I hope you werent serious and dont only get games he enjoys. Youd miss out on alot and he mentions tons how important it is that its all specified from his point of view and the stuff he doesnt like might not bother others.

I skipped all of those games because I just don't have time to play them. Unless I miraculously get a job where all I have to do all day is peruse games that I might've missed, it probably won't change. Jeff's point of view usually lines up with mine because he also has limited time to get into a game now that he's a father. I would say that I'm also lukewarm on most games these days, but sometimes it's nice to come home and play a game for an hour or so because it's not work. The minute a game starts being work, it's not fun. Back in the old times, my interests also lined up with Ryan and Drew.

Man it sucks every Bombcast starts with Jeff talking for a long time about the new game he hates.

I appreciate it when he tells the Bombcast exactly what he doesn't like about the games, because it lets me avoid the games that I finally have the money to pay for, but no longer have the time to play. Having Jeff waste his time with something that I might be interested in, only to find out it sucks shit is a valuable service to me in my early 30's.

I don't know if they talked about our old friend, Winamp during this Hotspot, but someone put up a 'museum' of Winamp skins. If you want to see the way things were when Nu Metal was king, here you go - https://skins.webamp.org/

@topcyclist: I'm at this point in my life where even though I'm unemployed, I'm filling the time with things that are not video games. I have a backlog of games a mile long that I will probably never get to at this point.

If I could coin a principle based on this concept it would be something like "as the cost of the game decreases, the time available to play the game also decreases exponentially".
