romance in the mass effect series is overall better than DA.

i helped everyone but its the bloody mages who keep sending demons over to me. so they die and i blame anders.

" Well, I've finished my first playthrough--at 45 hours. Enjoyed the hell out of it. Easily the best cast of characters I've seen in a BioWare game (closest rival being the recent Mass Effect 2).

you know what, reading through this thread got me thinking. the main plot of dragon age 2 plays out really similarly to Forrest Gump. Think about it.

so if someone disagrees with you, you say that they havent played the game. Assumptions for everyone today. half price.

3/5, story could be more fully fleshed out and more than half your companions are turds. Overly reused environments is definitely a problem and the combat is abit hacky slashy. Also, the UI is way too small on my big screen.

There are alot of problems with it on a gameplay and story level but I wouldn't call it bad. It's just expectations that people had from DAO weren't fulfilled with DA2. Its a gamble they took by changing things for better or for worse.

Yes, I fully agree. Aveline and Varric is great, maybe Fenris. Fuck the rest.

stuff just happens and you're stuck in the middle of it. the end is tied all the way back to act 1 in the most irrelevent and unexplained of ways.
