"the title of your thread should be "Morbidly Obese American Tourist Speeds Up The Inevitable""
This is from http://www.giantbomb.com/forums/off-topic/31/fat-dumb-ass-jumps-in-to-polar-bear-exhibit-gets-mauled/238164/?page=3I can't stand it and it's not only in the GB forums I see it everywhere. I think you must be short minded to think that all Americans are that way. There are many idiots all over the world. It's not just Americans."
Well during some research I found that the average American's IQ is 98. An IQ of 100 is considered average intelligence. When compared to other places in the world, such as Germany:107, Netherlands 107, Poland: 106 . However these are just stats, and in turn are too generalized in my opinion, because as you said, there are stupid people everywhere.

However, it doesn't matter who you are or where you come from, there will always be someone who doesn't necessarily like you for whatever reason. Your countries past history for example, can be taken into account for someone slandering your nationality.

Most of all why I think American's get a bad rap is because of their celebrities. Think about it, Paris Hilton, Ashley Simpson, Britney Spears, Jerry Springer, Kathy Griffin, Tommy Lee, and many many other celebrities are the face of America, to the world. Is it a wonder why when someone sees Americans idolizing people like this, make the assumption, that maybe the USA isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. Oh and I hear they're grossly overweight too.
