@Laketown: Totally didnt' like Altar, I still have the vinyl but I'm probably going to be selling it soon. That said Boris definitely balls out, the new Heavy Rocks album was especially sweet and their live shows are not to be missed. And actually my favorite Sunn album is La Mort Noir Dans Esch / Alzette which did come after Black One but was the tour for the album so still kind of the same. }:-P Glad there are other fans on this site.
@chrissedoff: Fuck yes! Earth and Sunn O))) are awesome, although I think Sunn hasn't done to much interesting since Black One. Dylan Carlson continues to dominate as the best act on Southern Lord. I wish Khanate was still around.
I went this whole summer without a job and just managed to get one at a local coffee shop a few weeks ago. That meant I had to sell my PS3 and all my games. With the price drop on the system I broke down, sold my DSi and PSP so I could get a PS3 again. That said with college and the small amount of money I'm making I have to be very picky about what games I'm going to buy. I'm figuring on only three or four in the next several months. Dead Island, Rage and Skyrim comprise that list and aside from them, even if I have a lot of interest in something I'm going to either have to go all Hal Jordan with my willpower and resist or sell more stuff (which I'm running out of) on ebay.
Well it's not instrumental but since you have Les Claypool as your avatar then you will probably want to check out the new Primus album, best thing since Pork Soda, right on par with Frizzle Fry.
