I wanted the extra characters, especially Mega Man, but my only online fighting game buddy only has a 360, so I gotta go Xbox for the team battles. I also have two SF Fightpads for the 360, even though PS3 controllers are just about as good for fighting games (I'm saving up to get an arcade stick).
There is a difference between trash talking and making fun of people, and being sexist or racist in a hurtful way. If you have to resort to sexism or racism to trash talk, you're probably not very good at it.
Edit: It's crazy to me that someone would believe sexism and sexual harassment is so integral to the way they interact with other human beings, that if you took it away it would fundamentally change the nature of the community (and even more crazy to think that it would make it WORSE as that dude seems to imply)
My thoughts exactly!
Yeah, that's what seemed crazy to me too. He basically says that the FGC wouldn't be the FGC without sexism. He seems terrified that his little club where he gets to do and say whatever he wants might get closed down, and simply doesn't want a bigger and better community because his bullshit will be called out.
I hope the Torchlight 2 folks can get their game out before D3, it'll really help their sales. I know that, personally, I probably won't buy Torchlight 2 for a long while if it's released after Diablo III.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem? The game will not install to the HDD of my Xbox 360. It just sits on the install screen and never progresses. I saw some other posts about this on Gamefaqs, but couldn't get any clear information. Let me know if this is a thing, would ya?
The community and the length of time people spent playing Diablo II came out of getting rare loot and armor sets. People could trade items and armor, and would get together to make runs on bosses who have a higher percentage of rare drops. So, although it's not an MMO, there was a lot of interaction between people to get the best stuff.
