What they really should be apologizing for is not releasing the Halo 2 remaster on the 360. which is a huge slap in the face to all the fans that have supported the halo releases on that system. at present you can own every single halo game for that one console EXCEPT Halo 2. which isn't even available as an xbox original on demand like the first halo is.
Sorry, no. Choosing to release popular games on the newest system is not someting to rake them over the coals over, nor is it anything new. Sure, I would have liked to have every game in the series on the 360, but it's hardly a "slap in the face" to opt to release it on the XBone. The new game being broken is a far, far more egregious offense.
I agree. The Xbox One has been out for a year now and Microsoft has, so far, lost first place in this new generation. It makes sense that they would focus on getting their main franchise on their new console. I'd love Halo 3 and 4 on PC, but it isn't a really smart move right now.
Also, does anyone else find that "slap in the face" is one of the most hyperbolic things people say in forums?
