Dicks! I wouldn't have chosen this option if sony hadn't tweeted that preload would be available last night! Now there's not even the slightest head start. Then the Rockstar Twitter said 9 p.m. ! Fucking with my hopes!
There's two gamestops within a mile of my house. Whenever they have midnight launches for games I want I usually wait about 30 minutes and pick up a copy after everyone's pretty much cleared out. I waited in line for GTA 4 and it was...not good.

I love this show and most of this epsiode, but that shootout was silly. If they had cut to credits when that nazi ( Kenny? ) had taken the first shot it would have been more suspenseful than that comically long, resultless gunfight. Seriously? A standoff between two trained DEA agents and a a gang of nazis armed with high caliber, fully automatic weapons standing about 20 feet apart from each other and nobody even gets grazed?
Whatever, I'm not even that interested in owning one yet and I'd still pick one up day one if I had the cash. I'm sure you'll glean some enjoyment out of it sooner or later.
Microsoft didn't really suffer financially from that decision. Quality aside, it only sold a couple of million copies and Ms has had plenty of profitable exclusives since then.
You can Preorder it digitally on Psn, but downloading an 8 gb file on Psn will probably take a few hours at least. Not to mention the thousands and thousands of others who'll be downloading it as well. This game if going to have a huge launch, I'd imagine if you live relatively close to any reputable games retailer they'll likely be selling the game at midnight.
So, I went back and watched the first episode of this season, and while the flash forward depicts the White residence as being all sorts of fucked up, there doesn't appear to be any fire damage. I'm guessing Jesse's arson plans are cut short by Walt Jr.s arrival. It would certainly speed up the central conflicts of the season ( and the show at large ) if Walt himself were to show up and confront Jesse, but I think it'd be fucked up in a manner more befitting of Breaking Bad's style to finally throw poor, innocent Walt Jr. into the mix for real.
