Apple just started a daily news podcast. You could be the voice of quick video game news with Apple, @jeff, if they want to expand their effort.

@jeff You can still use iTunes when you have FLAC files to work with. I just use XLD ("X Lossless Decoder" - https://tmkk.undo.jp/xld/index_e.html) to convert them into Apple Lossless (no quality loss while able to work with iTunes without issue [even syncs if you have Apple Music and/or iTunes Match.])

I’m sure there’s a Windows equivalent option for converting from FLAC to Apple Lossless if you don’t want to use a Mac for the conversion process.
