So, I am considering buying a 3DS with the new price drop, but even at $160 I am concerned that I just won't be happy with the purchase. There's really only a couple of 3DS games I'm currently interested in, and one coming out soon (Animal Crossing: 3DS), so I'm unsure if that would justify the price on it.

So my question to you fellow gamers who actually have a 3DS -- Are you happy with it, or do you regret spending the money on it?

I'm curious how the kicking and stuff will work with the mouse/keyboard combo.  I often found myself fumbling a bit with the controller in the demo. I really wish there was a PC demo.

So which platform will you guys be buying this game on?  I myself have a 360 and a PC.  I'm more leaning towards the PC route because FPS games on the PC are just easier for me.  Are there any pros and cons to each version, short of the Gears3 demo on 360?

Just bought my copy today and surprisingly enough, it had one.  Something to note, though, at the bottom of the card it says "Hardware manufacturers take no responsibility for this offer." ... what the hell?

I'm inclined to kind of disagree with the masses here.  Do I have a memory of which combos I'm doing?  No, I'm mainly just mashing a combination of punch and kick in order to beat the hell out of what I'm fighting.  In that regard, yes, it is a button masher.
 
However, there is a cognitive effort that needs to be made in order to do things like evading and witch time, evading and continuing a combo, and using the cool 360' shooting thing (I forgot what it's called), not to mention using items.  So in that regard, no, it's not a button masher.
 
Perhaps as I play more, and pay attention to the various combos in the loading screens, I will start favoring certain combos over another and will eventually turn combat into less of a button mashing experience in the end, but as of now I'd have to say it's a 50/50 mix of button mashing and cognitive action.
 
EDIT: Just an edit, I am playing on Normal.  I've only gotten to the 3rd verse, so there's still a lot I have to play.
