I just purchased a ASUS PB278Q (27'' IPS 1440P 60Hz) a couple of weeks ago. I came from a 20" 1680 x 1050 monitor I got as a high school graduation present almost 10 years ago. I love it and I am so glad I went to 1440p. I was between this monitor or a Ultra Wide at 1080P. For me personally, I do not have the GPU power to take real advantage of the 144hz (R9 390), also didn't want to spend the extra money. However, if those were not factors , I couldn't see why not go for a 1440P@144hz.

The Metal Gear Solid demo on the Playstation Underground disk that came with my PSX. I used to play that over and over.

Games runs fairly good for me. Runs at 60FPS on high with an occasional hick up. i5 4690k, R9 390 and 16GB of ram.

I was unsure until I watched the QL and Jeff's stream, now I am excited for the PC launch and pre-ordered it. I love huge worlds to explore and I really like the way the game looks. Also with a new baby, it looks like a great game to play on those late nights in bed on by steam link.
