If you have to get somewhere, snow sucks. If you are just chilling at home, it can be really enjoyable. I especially like it when it is about 30 degrees on a calm night and the snow flakes are really big, it is beautiful.
I just "cut the cord" from Directv yesterday. I am planning on using an antenna for local channels with a Tivo Box to record shows. I also have Netflix and Amazon Prime, but I live in the corn fields of Illinois, so my internet is not always reliable for streaming. 3Mbps does not give me a lot of bandwidth during busy times.
I live in the corn fields of Illinois so I am unable to get most internet providers. I currently get 3Mbps but have no cap. Not that I could download a huge amount anyway with that speed.
