@DanielJW: I'm guessing they use it as an excuse for their crap game skills. "Sorry fellas it's not my fault, my schlong is so big it got in the way of my controller!"
NO. I just don't have the patience to really learn RTS games. I get good at maybe one or two build orders and strategies and that's the extent of my power.
Calc or Trig questions without a calculator usually involve special angles (which you should memorize the trigonometric functions for, such as the sin, cos, and tan of 30 degrees), or want that answer in exact form which involves setting up the equation but not actually solving it.
Hell, paper one of the IB Math exams don't use calculator at all. It's really not that bad if you read the questions and figure out what they're looking for and are able to identify special functions.
Obscene language and the internet in general go hand-in-hand. It's just how it is. I'm sure the Policy and Enforcement team know this, so whatever. Besides, i think I'd get kind of annoyed if every other gamertag said something like "FuckMyBigCock" or "YouHaveASmallPenis"
A new playstyle such as making its multiplayer based will just segment the community between Reach and Halo 3. Because by now, people that didn't like Halo but like class-based shooters will feel too left out of the fiction and whatnot. The only way I see Bungie viably changing the gameplay in Reach is if they also include the code for Halo 3 multiplayer, so you have the option to play both Reach multiplayer and Halo 3 multiplayer. Separating the game styles over two separate games in the same franchise will only spell disaster in my opinion because of the fragmentation of the community it would create.
Besides people like Halo MP because it's Halo. You pick up a gun off the floor before someone else does then you beat the crap out of them. If they wanna play a class-based game they're gonna turn on something like Counter-Strike or CoD.
My first LAN experience was playing Counter-Strike with friends at a local gaming cafe. It was such a blast, and we played another group of guys there. It's such a different feeling when you're playing with people right next to you. The whole experience was just amazingly fun.
My second favorite LAN experience was getting 16th place at a Halo 1 LAN tournament out of 32 people. Yay, I'm average!
