Braid was excellent. Good puzzles, beatiful music and mind-fucking ending. But dude's still a douche. listened to a audio recording 2 hours long on a presentation he had on art and story in games. Although he may have a point in that the story moves on triggers instead of being interactive i a lot of games; whatever! There is room for that too. Many of my favourite games a linear as shit, and i still enjoyed the story in Dragon Quest 5 and God of War 1 and 2 tremendously. And all that talk about games for non-profit; Give all the money from Braid away to charity, asshole. Big games takes like millions to make, ofcourse profit matters as cost goes up. I wouldnt want every game to be a low budget indie thing, just as wouldnt want movies to just be student projects. I got Braid and Gears of War, love both, probably gonna buy this new game and Gears 3. Difference is i actually listen to Young Cliff, 'cus he keeps his head away from his ass.
Yeah, felt it there at the end. 9 in the morning here, kinda heavy stuff to wake up to. Actually got a box of it in the shelf, played for about 4 hours. Like having an urn, but in a severly dysfunctional way.
..and i would do anything for love, yes i would do anything for love...............but i wont do that.............................no i wont do that.
This year? Well, heres a list of some, with bold favourites:Batman, Borderlands, Brutal Legend, Beatles Rock Band, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Scribblenauts, Bowsers inside story, Ninja Gaiden 2 Sigma, Uncharted 2, Ratchet: Crack in time, forza 3, tekken 6, assassins creed 2, LFD 2, Modern warfare 2 and odst......my point? Hella games coming out still! If more games benefit from it, delay them some more. Its not like i can afford half of these games anyway this year.
I enjoyed it quite much. A fun little rpg thingie with tons of charm. Got a few nods for zelda fans, but otherwise a unique game. Personal favourite in my ds collection.
