I don't mind them really, I tend to get day one releases that morning so even if the updates are big there aren't as many people downloading them. Either way if a day one update means fixing serious game breaking glitches then I'd rather have them than start a broken game. Some games do go overboard on updates though, I've lost count how many times I've had to update Driveclub, but then it was released unfinished.

I normally don't watch new shows and in the past Marvel movies and productions never did much for me, but.. I have to admit Daredevil was so good that I watched all 13 of them in the space of two days. It could be the low expectations that propelled it to such a level of amazement but I simply can't believe someone managed to take the character and put such a great spin on it. I couldn't get enough of the last episode and now it's that awkward point where I'm just hoping for a second season. I really want to see more of Fisk, he was easily my favourite character of the series and so well written. You could see that all he wanted was some form of stability but at the same time those levels of psychopathy were always ready to flair up and consume anyone who crossed him. Season 2 can't come any sooner.

Really nice piece of writing and expertly put together. My boyfriend recently started playing a city building game, I think it's called "Cities". He seems to think it's one of the best PC games out there, it looks like he is still trying to get a handle on proper infrastructure though.. he showed me a traffic jam yesterday that was so bad he had to start fresh on the whole thing.

Just shrug and move on, if I'd had some form of creative input in the process of bringing the game to life then that would be something. It's the same with anything really, music/films/etc, people will always have their own opinions and I'd rather not waste my time trying to convert their way of thinking.

IMO Hitman Absolution is a game that does not do well in normal difficulty. Play it on easy or on hard. If you are hardcore you should be willing to put up with the missing hud element, no save, and deadly enemies. Play it on easy you have nearly infinite instinct which sort of makes up for disguise getting blown by people of the same faction.

Spot on about the last Hitman game, it was painfully easy in normal mode and Agent 47's heightened senses dumbed down some of the strategy in the levels. However once you switch off the HUD and all of the many trinkets you get a much more intense and experience. I always found Contracts to be a lot more challenging and engrossing, Blood Money wasn't bad but I felt a lot more bulletproof so I took a lot more risks without worrying about the consequences.

Well I'd heard the original was rather poor and fans of the series were disappointed with the finished game, even the clerk in Gamestop told me to pass on it. Naturally when you hear that especially when it's from people who played it, you tell yourself to steer clear of it. So straight away when I saw it had been remastered my initial thought was that they didn't make enough off of it the first time around so they are trying their luck with a remastered version.

I've given plenty of poorly rated games a chance when others wouldn't. Not all Remastered games put in the appropriate time and effort to make a game worth playing, sometimes it's purely cosmetic with a small handful of DLC. Anyone can and will form an opinion on a game and if they were aware of it being poor at it's original release you might have your work cut out for you to convince them that the remaster is worth a purchase.

There is being uniformed to the point where you would rather avoid something, and then there is a personal attack on someone or something. Was it an attack on the game? hardly though again it's no reason to outright insult someone of their particular view. I in no way set out to insult anyone in this thread yet you seem to think it's perfectly okay to think that if someone doesn't agree with your line of thinking that it is ignorance. I'd like to think it was remastered for a reason and that the series still had some form of positive direction, but frankly the original reviews for DMC were so poor that I seriously doubted a remaster would save it.

Does car jacking count? if so then yes, twice in South Africa - both times I just got out and let them take it. If you resist you could be shot and they did have guns so that was it, also staying in the car increases the chances of kidnapping. Once in Moscow, oddly enough these guys were friendly about it in a very creepy way, they let me take my bag and papers from the car then made sure I was let go near a taxi depot. I found out afterwards the car was stolen to order so all they were after was the car and they already had an overseas buyer lined up. I've been in some very dangerous places like Colombia and Mexico, I think mugging was less of a concern compared to what more organized criminals get up to. I did carry a tazer for a while and was trained in the proper use of firearms but I live in a more stable country now so I don't worry about it any more.

It happened on a 3D a few times, I think it was the last Gran Turismo game, I could only play for about 20 to 40 minutes before turning it off. Another game was Far Cry 4, so many trippy levels with deep fluid visuals.
