Console itself is femine, but for the individual consoles themselves it varies, the Switch is definitely feminine, but the Nintendo 64 is masculine. The playstation is kinda weird because I almost always hear the PS4 referred to as "Une PS4" but the PS3 as "Un PS3" This is in quebec, I'd definitely be curious to hear from other french speakers how they gender the playstation.

Personally I think everyone would have more fun if they were playing using a different system. Nothing against D&D but it does require a lot of prep and knowledge of rules and it's not fun for the viewers if half of the stream is spent asking about how certain mechanics work. Something like Blades in the Dark or a game based on Apocalypse World would work pretty well with the GB crew I think, since the players could focus more on doing what they want and the GM's job is to figure the interesting consequences of their actions.

I'm trying to remember the name of a game that I am fairly certain is either a Master System or Genesis game. It was a fighting game with monsters? I think you could play as some sort of ooze thing and maybe your character would change or upgrade? Or maybe not. I didn't speak any english at the time so I'm not exactly sure what was going on in this game. I feel like I've looked up every single fighting game in existence and haven't found it, so maybe it doesn't exist.

I had a period of about a year where I received stuff a day early because they estimated it wrong, and then it stopped and now sometimes I get it a day late and it's been pretty annoying because the temptation to just buy the digital version and play at midnight is a real thing for some games.

I really like Node for their vive content.

I think if literally the last action scene of the game needs a tutorial it's very bad.

I've been having a lot of fun with this game so far but I have no xbox friends so no one to share Bucketlist Challenges with. Is that even how it works?

I'm mostly kidding, but Square Enix did make a poll to know which game people would buy if they came out at the same time.

They basically sabotaged their own game with the way matchmaking worked upon release. I don't know if they've ever fixed it. Basically it seemed like matchmaking on PC took into account which steam server you were connected to, and would match you with those people exclusively(?) As a result, matchmaking in certain parts of the world would take several minutes to find a game, like 10+, and that was right after the game came out. I tried coming back to the game a few weeks after launch and every time I tried to get into a match it would take way too long and I would quit. The game itself is alright but they made so many weird design decisions that I don't really care to ever go back to it now.

I can't say I'm a fan of trying to make this game more like a MOBA. I wouldn't be opposed to a playlist where characters are limited or maybe locked in but I think it would just make people more critical of everyone else. Like "Oh you don't know how to play Reaper you should have picked someone else"
