I'm not sure if this counts seeing it's a HL1 mod, but Cry of fear.

If you feel like being disturbed and cheap scared at times, go for it. It's quite long for a mod (And has a lot of content to offer, like unlockables and higher difficulties that give you new weapons and cosmetics,) and nerve recking till the very end. I wish your heart good luck.

All of what you mentioned is extremely true. Though, when I was a kid... all the time traveling didn't quite click with my brain at the time, creating an extremely frustrating experience. I should probably try to get back at it again...

Hrrm, It has to be a 7. When I'm getting a shot on my arm, I always tense up and give myself a cramp. Good times.

Depending on where you live, I could sell my ATI HD 5870 for $100 to you. I'm planning to upgrade myself soon, but the ATI HD 5870 can still max out everything with the right processor. (Bf3 stays at like 30 frames maxed out with an i5 2500k unclocked, not the best peformance but ok) I'll have to check later if I have AA and Anti Aliasing enabled.

I know this game didn't get the best reviews/view on it... but I was just curious if there were any other people out there looking for co-op partners.

If Valve/Steam is still up and running, I honestly have nothing to worry about. Would Valve's games be considered "hardcore" though?

I never saw swearing as a con.... more of a plus haha. I'll admit though, if I were even going to consider getting this game... it would be for the multiplayer. I feel like there needs to be more TPS's in general, especially on the PC.

I would say so. As a homeschooler, I never really had any friends to begin with. Just a few neighboorhood kids, that's about it. They already moved on though.... so here I am, playing games 24/7 every weekend. I'm not sure what else I can do to get out of this rut.
