I bought the EVGA SC 980 ti Monday and over-nighted it. It runs everything I can throw at it out of the box; with max settings, in 1080p, and around 70-90 FPS including the Witcher 3 (with hair on). There's no need for a Physx card. The 980 ti is overkill, but I don't like fooling around with settings.

Ex, I was getting 100-120 in gta, 70-90 in Ass Creed Unity, and 90-110 in Far Cry 4.

Timezone: Eastern US (Jacksonville, Fl)

Launch games: AC4, BF4, NFS Rivals, Madden 25, Shadowfall, and Kanck. I'm all over the amazon deal!

I've been mostly an Xbox guy, but am changing over next Gen to the ps4 as my primary console. So the more friends the merrier for leader board and mp stuff.

one of 5 people with a vita too!

I played on hard. The handyman fights were tough, but fun. I got through them without dieing every once in a while. The lady Comstock and Zeppelin fights were HORRIBLE though. I had to watch youtube videos for bug exploits on the graveyard fight, and had to memorize patterns on the Zeppelin. Those fight are really my only problem with the game. It really rubbed me the wrong way, that everything was perfectly tense (every combat situation really made you think) then the two fight comes out of left field and make the game feel like a COD Mile High achievement run-though.

I got an email just like that this morning. I haven't been able to log on since the new site began and after about 5 emails trying to resolve the issue, I'm finally back!

I logged in using the long password and changed it back to my old one, and all is good now. So, yea, I'd say its a legit service email.

I live in Florida and I don't know anyone who actually uses the heater in their houses!

It's 80-90, ten months out of year and the other two months are about 60-70. Of course we get an occasional cold front to drop it to 50, but that only lasts a day or two and we're back in shorts.

So yea, no AC isn't crazy to believe, just as we have no heaters.

I'm on the GBTNT friends list, but didn't get an invite yesterday. That friend list should be up till next Thursday, so I'll look for others playing and try to join in their games. And if you guys are in the clan and see me on, do the same. Another poster said that anyone in the clan can send the invite as long as we're in the lobby together.

My GT is LL Chilidogs

I took 3 years of Spanish in high school and 4 years of German in college. As an English speaking American, I would say German was the easiest for me to learn. German isn't all the different from English rule-wise and a ton of words share the same root in both languages.

German is just a ton of fun to use to get bums and weird people on public transportation to leave you alone. Its also pretty cool being able to understand all the bad guys in movies, haha!

I dont think they earn much. I remember rorie saying on the oscar live cast that he earns $20,000 a year. Jeff probably earns a little more since he runs the biggest whiskey site.

The dude does seem to have a never ending wad of cash coming from somewhere, but this isn't any of our business.

Not really. He is single, no kids, doesn't seem like he smokes or drinks all that much. Modest food budget, utilities, gas and rent/mortgage. Plenty of disposable income left over even on a modest salary.

also this

Wait WHAT?!?! 20K a year, in freaking California are you crazy? Unless that dude has like 3 other jobs no way man! I make 3x as much as that out of college, I'm single, don't spend much money, have a cheap car, and I barely am making it by.

Yea... 20k is less than you'd make full time at McDonald's. Judging from their perceived lifestyles, I'd say 50k for the regulars and the founders probably about 80k. San Fran isn't cheap, and all jobs in the city take that into account. And for an adult with a mortgage, bills, and social life in a big city, 50k really isn't that much.

I agree. I've never been into women's sports, but they play harder and tougher than their male counterparts. Both teams have taken some brutal hits so far, and they get right back up. There's no spray, no stretchers, and no magical water; I'm beginning to wonder if I'm actually watching a soccer game.
