Soups or stews with meat and veg in, you don't just eat the meat and veg and throw out the liquid afterward. Same with cereal. Not eating the cereal milk after eating the cereal is just utter madness.

Eh now this loses me though. Not usually gonna guzzle down remaining soup broth.

But milk is a proper drink and when all the cereal is gone it remains a sometimes even better drink.

If you have a bowl of food all intermingling and touching, deciding that one element of that mixed up bowl is gross is arbitrary at best. It'd be like having a paella but leaving the rice.

I agree cereal milk is great.

Seriously huge props to Alex for the Palmer Luckey section. No-one wanted to talk about that, no-one wanted to anchor the crushing weight of reality to the inherent frivolity of ranking the best videogames of the year, but Alex absolutely stood up and said what needed to be said. He brought first Jeff and later more of the team into discussing that whole situation, and that was super important to do.

I find this story sums up Newport pretty well.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-south-east-wales-23566284

To summarise; someone who felt their council taxes could be put to better use was growing pot in council-owned greenery and flower displays. The council workers who watered and maintained those displays never noticed/reported this, and the crop was harvested before the police removed it.
