Scorn has been in development FOREVER now. I think it was announced in like, 2016 or so, and a playable alpha or demo was put out on Itch.io (or maybe someplace else, it's been way to long) and it was pretty HR Geiger for sure, not to mention very moist and gross looking. There's another survival horror kinda game using that same style, but I forget the name of it and it to has been in the works for years.

This just looks like an even slower version of Shadowrun. I still wish that healing tree was more of a thing in other games :(

The game is certainly pretty, but there are issues. There are horribly low textures in many places, the secondary characters look a major step down from the main characters (which is fine to be honest). At least that's what I've seen so far. I saw a pipe in one area that literally looked like it was from the PS1 original it was so low res lol

@jasonr86: I think it mainly stems from the fact that Jeff is the "main" of the site basically and he as they say sucks up all the air in the room if you know what I mean? His overall negativity is a downer for sure to watch sometimes, but I can't fault him for feeling that way about games these days. Again I feel his age (as with me) plays a huge role in this. He has a kid now, time is limited etc. I've never played any AC game (I've been a PC gamer since like, 89 at this point though I do have an Xbone and have had consoles over the years) but his description of some of the stuff you have to do in that game - well I'd get fed up with it also I think. And I grind in MMO's all the time lol

He's my age, which means he's jaded and has very specific tastes like me. And that's fine, he's been in this biz for a long long time now and has his opinions on things, some of which I disagree with quite a bit. Some I agree on. I understand more and more people on GB getting "angry" (I guess that's the word for it?) at his being so negative a lot of the time, but would they rather him put on a smile and LIE about liking a game? Isn't that basically why we even have GB in the first place? I'd much rather him be straight up honest about his feelings then have him placate to the audience.

@finstern: The dev took some early reviews and made major changes to the game making it much easier because previously on release it was insanely hard. The game had a death loop from hell, and it needed to be changed for sure. Mack from Worth A Buy put out an early review loving on the game but pointing out how the death loop was nuts and made the game infuriatingly hard. So, the dev listened.

Before I say this, let me preface this by also saying I totally get why people like the Business Dave Top 10 and Dave himself (seems like a super chill dude regardless) and enjoy seeing his segment on UPF. I however personally can't stand those segments (for the most part) for a variety of reasons of which I won't get into here. Needless to say, again, I get why you and others like the segment and miss it when it's not on during a UPF. I just don't think that segment is for me sadly.

Also did you know the Kansas City Chiefs were based out of Kansas?!? (btw they aren't)

Those menus look straight outta Doom 3 to me. At least, that's the feeling I'm getting from the layout and coloring they are using. I don't have any problem with the UI personally but I can understand some people not digging it also.
