I dunno the details and it was definitely played illicitly. But there is for sure a pc port of the original Typing of the Dead. It was in english and everything.
There was an official port of the original Typing of the Dead in 2000 for Windows PC. And by 2004 I believe it sold OK - around 150,000 copies on PC.
@alternate: I dunno, I thought the ending was quite good actually. I mean without spoiling anything, its a pretty impressive ending to such a small scale kinda game. And I mean that in more than one sense :D
We have great, uncapped internet where I live, and I've pre-ordered the founders pack. I feel like Google has been selling this wrong, or reviewers are looking at it wrong, or both. It's not a console launch, it's more like putting your video card in the cloud. If this works well, why would I spend $1,000 on a new video card when I can just pay $10 a month for 4K 60FPS with HDR?
I totally get that it isn't for everyone, especially with internet infrastructure being so terrible in some places. I would hope at some point that all these streaming services, etc would be pushing internet providers to offer a better service.
Because, and correct me if I'm wrong - but you still have to purchase the games on Stadia don't you? Even if the pro service for whatever a month offers some games as part of the sub, you are still going to miss out on a block of the games that aren't on the sub service.
I haven't watched this yet, but is this like a opposite day thingy where these are the "worst" songs of the 80s but in reality are the "best" songs of the 80s? Cuz I'm up to the list part and almost every song listed is a fucking banger.
Other than the fact this game is just an updated (and more polished) version of their mobile bowling game, I couldn't be happier finally having a legit decent bowling game on PC after all these years. While it still has that mobile feel (and some of the UI is like, a direct copy of the mobile stuff, meh) they did enough for PC users (simulation mode for example, can't add spin to the ball like in the normal mode) that I'm more than happy with it. Runs good, as expected being a spruced up mobile port, has a pretty good amount of content (and mp support, neato) and looks pretty ok also.
I was mildly more interested in this game than after this QL. A military-esque shooter has to be really interesting before I will think of it. I did like The Division 2.

I wouldn't touch this game with a ten foot pole due to the microtransactions that are in the game. I haven't watched the video yet so I don't know if the guys touched on them or not but its just disgusting what they put in the game. And this is coming from someone who still plays Wildlands today.
Eh I feel like a QL for this should have come out a bit sooner than this. I'm sure scheduling and timing were issues and I'm not gonna be on some high horse and complain about GB or anything, but I do think this game is already past that "new popular game on Steam/whatever let's show it off and take a look at it" phase of its life. I mean, I could be wrong, I am 45 and old. :|
@null_subject: I wasn't trolling. I also know they originally were calling this Rune: Ragnarok but along with the EGS deal they changed the name etc. And as I said, this literally isn't Rune anymore and should have kept the Ragnarok tagline on it. But it is their game series and they can do what they want (make it open world, make it EGS exclusive, etc etc) as I also said. I just feel like they are spitting in the face of everyone who loved the original (hell I still play the original, even online when I can find a match!) so to speak.
But who knows, maybe we're all getting bent out of shape for nothing and the game will turn out awesome. This QL EX doesn't give me much hope beyond just you know, hoping for the best lol but I've been proven wrong by QL's and what not before.
