I was bored, scouring the web for some Indie games today (preferably some of the free variety) and found this interesting thing.

It is essentially a combination of Rogue and Pac-man. If nothing else, it sounded unique. each little bit (yeah, I don't know my Pac-Man terms) grants you 1exp and heals you for 1 point of life, while the larger "o" units allow you to eat the enemies (ghosts) for extra points.

In the end, it was fun, but the RPG element was wasted. It doesn't seem like you really get powerful enough to actually kill the ghosts without picking up the "o" shapes, and if you get cornered, you're just as dead as the original Pac-Man.

So, I got a bunch of mods (5 different ones, some of them with 5-6 files each) and now the game crashes. Not really a big surprise.

However, I have spent the last 45 minutes turning on and off random mods, starting new games, and still having the game crash on me.

Is there some fancy trick to figuring out where the conflicts are? Or do I just have hours and hours of turning things on and off to go?
