I was so relieved that DBZ Kai kept that line (or at least a slight variation of it) in the cut. I was worried it got the "Mondo Cool" treatment and was cut out.
Super Saiyan bargain sale is a direct translation that seems to have been preserved in all versions, which is good because it's a great line. Vegeta even says it with English words in Japanese.
I think it's just a joke about her short hair making her look androgynous.
I think it's a bit of both, I don't know if Goku would've commented on it like that if it wasn't also a callback of some sort, but hey either one works.

Also as I'm sure others have pointed out Androids 17 & 18 were originally humans that were augmented with that perpetual energy engine thing so they can age, have children and what not. We Gotta Power may be my favorite Dragon Ball song but Fight It Out is pretty good too
@dstopia: It's included in every home releasse but the image quality is ovesaturated and thanks to grain removal it looks terrible, most of them are cropped to widescreen. If you want the best and basically perfect releasse of DBZ with the best image quality, 4:3 and original next episode previews and title cards you will need to track down the "Dragon Box" releasse.Its the only home releasse of DBZ that i can reccomend.
Holy shit, I just looked up the cost of the Region 1 Dragon Ball Z Dragon Box complete set and that thing goes for $700 to $800 used... Glad I bought mine when they were being released
Bitter sweet episode for sure. One of my favorites plus it was extra long but finding out about the season break was heartbreaking. Don't know what I will do without this show every week for the next few months :(
