Man, I don't even like Assassin's Creed, but Dan's reasons for hating them are super contradictory. It's a stealth-based game with shit controls and a story way too far up its own ass, what other series does that remind you of? Surely not a series that Dan mentions mere minutes later as one of the greatest of all time...
Haha, for some reason, when people claim MGS is one of the pinnacles of video games, it really pisses me off. Not sure why. Gotta work on that. Not even the fact that it's Dan is enough to quell to my strangely strong anti-MSG feelings, and I've been a huge Dan-fan since the Game Informer days!
Kinda sad that Barry Goodman didn't make the best new character list, though with the fact that Alex is the only one who played it (and didn't even play the whole thing), it makes sense. I mean, being that his whole backstory is pretty much just a Megadeth/ Marty Friedman reference, though, I'm probably biased, haha.
